Protection of personal information
The Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec reminds public companies that certain provisions of the Act to modernize legislative provisions respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, also known as Bill 25, came into force on September 22. This reform modernizes the rules protecting personal information in Quebec, so that they are better adapted to the new challenges posed by today’s digital and technological environment.
Please refer to our new Politique de protection des renseignements personnels.
Throughout the year, training on the main issues covered by Law 25 will be deployed to all CGTSIM staff.
If you wish to make a request for access to information, it must be sent in writing to the person responsible for access to information and protection of personal information.
