Compliance with regulatory requirements

The CGTSIM website has been designed in accordance with rigorous digital accessibility principles. It is made available to all users, enabling individuals with specific limitations to access the information it provides. This approach also helps address certain technical constraints, making navigation easier for everyone.

The accessibility audit conducted on March 23, 2026, by an external firm shows that the CGTSIM website complies with 97.40% of the current regulatory accessibility requirements, namely:

  • The Standard sur l’accessibilité des sites Web (SGQRI 008 3.0), the official standard applicable to all Québec government departments and public bodies. The targeted level of accessibility is AA.
  • The rules of version 2.1 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), in its most recent version available in French, as well as certain criteria from version 2.2.

Our key accessibility measures

  • Use of appropriate semantic markup to support navigation with assistive technologies.
  • Adequate color contrast between text and background to ensure readability.
  • Full keyboard navigation support, without requiring the use of a mouse.
  • Alternative text (alt text) provided for all meaningful images.
  • Regular website updates to address and correct any identified accessibility issues.

Validation tools

The CGTSIM conducts accessibility tests using the following tools:

  • Axe DevTools, version 4.120.1.;
  • Module ANDI (Accessible Name and Description Inspector);
  • Colour Contrast Analyser;
  • Extension Web Developer;
  • Developer tools integrated into the Firefox browser;
  • W3C HTML Validator.
